La NCB d\u00e9coule de l&rsquo;irritation d&rsquo;une racine nerveuse au niveau des vert\u00e8bres du cou : les cervicales. Ces nerfs empruntent diff\u00e9rents chemins et innervent diff\u00e9rentes zones, <strong>le trajet de la douleur varie donc selon la racine atteinte.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-children-count=\"0\">C&rsquo;est une affection fr\u00e9quente et particuli\u00e8rement handicapante car la douleur est lancinante et perturbe souvent le sommeil.<\/p>\n<h3 data-children-count=\"0\">Quels sont les sympt\u00f4mes de la N\u00e9vralgie Cervico-Brachiale (NCB) ?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">La douleur part des cervicales et descend dans le bras.<\/li>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">La douleur se ressent sur le trajet d&rsquo;une des racines cervicales (C5 \u00e0 C8) ou sur la premi\u00e8re racine dorsale (D1).<\/li>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">Celle-ci est fr\u00e9quemment major\u00e9e par la position allong\u00e9e et par certains mouvements du cou.<\/li>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">La douleur est lancinante et peut \u00eatre ressentie comme un coup d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 ou une br\u00fblure.<\/li>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">Les fourmillements sont fr\u00e9quents.<\/li>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">La douleur peut se r\u00e9percuter entre les omoplates.<\/li>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">Ces sympt\u00f4mes sont parfois associ\u00e9s \u00e0 des contractures importantes qui vont diminuer la mobilit\u00e9 du cou.<\/li>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">Une <strong>hernie discale<\/strong> ou de l&rsquo;<strong>arthrose cervicale<\/strong> peuvent \u00eatre mises en \u00e9vidence par l&rsquo;IRM cervicale. Cependant, il s&rsquo;installe souvent progressivement suite \u00e0 de mauvaises postions prolong\u00e9es pendant le travail, le sommeil ou pendant une activit\u00e9 sportive.<\/li>\n<li data-children-count=\"0\">Ce blocage va irriter l&rsquo;une des racines cervicales en fonction de la zone du cou ou il s&rsquo;est form\u00e9. Il vous r\u00e9orientera vers un sp\u00e9cialiste si vous souffrez d&rsquo;une forme grave de NCB. Celles-ci repr\u00e9sentent un infime minorit\u00e9 de cas et se manifestent par une paralysie partielle du bras et\/ou une hyperalgie.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre d&rsquo;une NCB b\u00e9nigne, le traitement m\u00e9dical est souvent un prescription d&rsquo;anti-inflammatoires. Ils sont souvent efficaces mais ne font que masquer temporairement les sympt\u00f4mes.<\/p>\n<h3>Et la kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapie ou l&rsquo;ost\u00e9opathie ?<\/h3>\n<p>La plupart traitements effectu\u00e9s par les kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapeutes ou les ost\u00e9opathes\u00a0consistent souvent \u00e0 d\u00e9tendre les tensions musculaires et articulaires. Les outils fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9s sont les suivants : ultrasons, mobilisations, \u00e9tirements et exercices.<\/p>\n<p>Sans toucher \u00e0 la r\u00e9elle cause de la NCB : le blocage articulaire cervical, le soulagement est \u00e9galement temporaire.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9duire les situations stressantes et corriger ses postures vont r\u00e9duire l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 des douleurs.
